Innovation and trust power Italy’s winter sports champions
For many years, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) has chosen UYN for its athletes, and continues to do so today. This partnership carries special significance: Italy is the birthplace of our company and
remains the centre of our research, development and manufacturing, while FISI consistently ranks among the leading forces in international winter sports, shaping the competitive landscape at the Olympic
Games, World Championships and World Cup circuit.
From alpine skiing to snowboard, from biathlon to ski jumping and numerous other disciplines, hundreds of elite athletes rely daily on our base layers and technical socks. Each piece within the national team
collection is developed using proprietary technologies and premium materials, engineered to deliver thermoregulation, biomechanical support and enduring comfort across the most demanding climatic
conditions.
The Natyon line has now reached its fourth generation, reflecting a partnership built on continuity, measurable performance and mutual trust.
Among the athletes are Olympic and World Champions, alongside the next generation of international contenders, including Sofia Goggia, Federica Brignone, Giovanni Franzoni, Dominik Paris, Alex Vinatzer, Michela Moioli, Dorothea Wierer, Lisa Vittozzi, Tommaso Giacomel, Miro Tabanelli and Flora Tabanelli.
Our relationship extends well beyond competition. We meet regularly at races, official events and dedicated shoots, and we welcome athletes to our headquarters to understand their evolving
requirements at first hand. They are not only ambassadors of the brand but integral contributors to our innovation process. Their technical feedback frequently informs new phases of experimentation, material refinement and product engineering.
Between competition schedules and commercial commitments, several of our athletes chose to share a more personal perspective in the documentary Below the Surface. We followed them across Europe
during the off season, a period largely unseen by the public, to explore the layers that truly define performance. Physical preparation, mental resilience and disciplined repetition form the unseen structure beneath every result.
