Three-dimensional micro-ribs, integrated into the inner surface, wrap around the legs in a spiral pattern from the foot to the thigh: counterclockwise for the right leg and clockwise for the left. This special structure creates a decreasing pressure from the bottom to the top that stimulates the return of blood to the heart and oxygenation of the tissues, preventing the formation of lactic acid. This reduces the recovery period and speeds up the repair of damaged muscle fibres. The micro-ribs also produce a massaging effect and promote air circulation across the skin for greater comfort.
