UYN URBAN SHOES
The creative vision of an international archistar meets the most advanced textile technology. The result is a modern and innovative shoe
that draws inspiration from the sock to achieve the sublime combination of performance, comfort, style and design. The first collection of shoes designed by Patricia Urquiola and crafted in Italy by UYN.
"We took inspiration from the super-comfortable cushioned sports socks – the emblem of movement and freedom. Slip into these shoes at any time. Go wherever you want. Express yourself on your personal journey”.
Architect, designer, visionary
Everything starts with the sock. The most comfortable accessory in the wardrobe, the one that most represents the history and expertise of our company. Creating a knitted upper, without any stitching, means offering Patricia Urquiola's visionary imagination an extraordinary surface to design.
Patterns and lines combine, hinting at sports socks and creating a unique design. Natural, bio-based yarns such as Merino wool and Natex wrap the foot in natural comfort. Breathability, elasticity and water resistance highlight the technical features of the shoe. Perfect for metropolitan adventurers.
