What’s hidden in the process is what fuels it with the most energy. At UYN, people are the driving force behind everything we do. That’s why we’ve built AREAS, a purpose-driven environment where specialists in performance apparel come together to rethink what functional clothing can be.
At the heart of AREAS lies the Design District, where a new generation of creatives is shaping future collections through the exchange of cultures and perspectives from all over the world, united by a shared set of principles.
We always begin with product quality, it’s non-negotiable. Every new design must meet extremely high standards before it can even be considered.
That’s where creativity becomes truly functional. A seamless pattern isn’t decoration, it’s the result of technical studies aimed at enhancing athletic performance. We run countless tests before a product is finalized. Fit must be impeccable, but more than that, it must move with the body. A garment isn’t designed for stillness. It’s made to come alive through movement.
The creative process within the design district is constantly fed by the unique positioning of our HQ.
Situated far from the chaos of the city, this setting offers both refuge and inspiration for those who live for movement in the outdoors. The countryside offers an escape from the chaos of the city, a refuge to recharge the mind when it’s time to slow down.
We draw inspiration from anything in our daily lives that can spark an idea. But above all, we look to nature, following the principle of biomimicry. We observe it closely, not only for its aesthetics but also for its function. More often than not, nature gives us the answers we’re looking for.
When work and passion align, the result is not only professional satisfaction. It’s also visible in the final product. At AREAS, teams share much more than just a workplace.
