Accessibility on www.uynsports.com

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standard defines requirements to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

www.uynsports.com is currently partially conforming with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

The main known non-conformities are the following:

● Some non-text content does not have an adequate or unambiguous text alternative, making it difficult for blind or mobility-impaired users who use assistive technologies to interact with the page;

● Some information does not have a logical hierarchy of headings;

● Some information and content relationships implied by formatting are not communicated in a way that assistive technologies can understand;

● Some non-text elements do not communicate their function;

● Some textual information lacks semantic markup, making it difficult for screen readers to identify its semantic weight and use appropriate intonation;

● Some visual information is not properly structured in the code (such as lists or headings), which can compromise navigation using assistive technologies and the interpretation of content hierarchy;

● Some information lacks adequate color contrast;

● Some content is not accessible via keyboard;

● Some video content lacks content management controls, risking interfering with screen readers or creating confusion for the user.

● Some pages lack a mechanism for skipping content blocks that are repeated across multiple pages;

● In some sections, the order of information accessed via keyboard is inconsistent with the meaning of the content;

● Some images that function as links do not have populated alt attributes;

● Some links do not clearly communicate their purpose;

● Some content lacks visual cues for keyboard focus in some sections, which can make it difficult to determine where you are when navigating without a mouse;

● In some cases, the accessible name does not match or contain the visible label text;

● Some components with the same functionality are not consistently identified;

● Some form fields lack descriptive text;

● Some content lacks unique attributes.
