Mud Line

GET DIRTY TO WASH OFF THE WEIGHT OF LIFE OUTSIDE

While many chase clear skies, we seek out uncertainty: clouds heavy with rain, mud clinging to our legs, trails that refuse to promise solid ground.

It’s there, in those unstable conditions, that we find our balance.

We spent three days in the Monti Lessini of northern Italy, testing our endurance, both as makers of high-performance gear and as people.

Lessinia’s trails challenged us, and we answered with grit and gratitude. This is the land where two species of wolves cross paths, so we decided to follow their tracks. Together with Matilde, Gianluca, and Francesco, we rode more than 110 kilometers of rugged terrain.

There’s a rhythm to effort. Rain streaming across your face, mud grinding beneath the tires, lactic burn in the muscles. Yet in every drop, every strain, there is release, an unmistakable connection to the wild essence of the world outside. Mud Line captures this paradoxical harmony between what the body endures and what the spirit feels.

In Lessinia, climates never settle. One moment humid, the next cool, then cold. The mountains remind you that comfort is temporary. We didn’t resist the weather, we welcomed it. Embracing what nature gives, in both its softer edges and its harshest turns, made the experience real and made the testing both credible and authentic.

For gravel riding, that reality makes layering essential: your body must adapt to each shift, and your apparel has to adapt with it. That’s exactly what we trained for. Together with our three riders, who share our passion for discovery, we tested not just endurance but the clothing designed to support it. Pieces built with natural fibers, pushed to the limit in raw conditions.

Mud Line began as a few days of testing and training. It became a short film, a way to share the primal joy of rediscovering nature in its truest form.
This short documentary is an invitation to step outside, to get dirty, to find pleasure in leaving your mark in the mud.
